Commissioned by an first time Aston Martin owner who wanted something different, designed along with the then Aston Martin Works Service team to provide a dream car. The owner was looking for something combining the elegance of the DB9 with the aggression and muscle of the 60’s and 70’s Italian supercars, something with more of a sporty GT feel, something slightly edgier.
Bored with the traditional greys and silvers, the customer desired a richer colour then those on offer, so starting with Cumberland Grey, a new paint containing high levels of gold and copper flakes to give the car a chameleon effect in different lighting.
This specially commissioned DB9 also has a number of other unique specifications added, switchable loud/soft exhaust, mesh grilles, specially finished wheels, Le Mans styled filler cap, quilted interior, red seat belts, styled front and read spoilers, specially commissioned badges amongst other options.
